Nervous?... Scared?... Excited?... All three? Don't worry, whether you've just brought your baby home or you're counting down the days until you do, the emotions you're feeling are completely normal! Becoming a parent is a major milestone in life and it certainly warrants a mixed bunch of feelings.
Parenthood: "Am I ready? ... Are We Ready?"
Unfortunately, research has shown that a large percentage of new parents will experience a drop in relationship satisfaction and an increase in conflict and hostility within their first three years of parenthood - Yikes! The good news however, is that research has also shown that those changes are not guaranteed - that's where I come in.

Even before you bring your child home, there is a natural shift in focus from your relationship to your child. This is normal, but placing your baby first does not mean your relationship should suffer! My job is to provide you with the information and tools you need to successfully balance the needs of child and the needs of your relationship.
